We are in a physical recession that all of us, as humans, are experiencing. Joint replacements are happening in younger people and in higher numbers, chronic pain is an epidemic and fundamental joint capacities are going extinct. I believe it is essential that we acquire the knowledge and carve out the time to take our bodies in a different direction. This is my passion. It is in my DNA. The collective is where I share the best of what I know as the science of human movement evolves.

movement 101 is based on KINSTRETCH techniques.

KINSTRETCH is a science based movement enhancement system that MAXIMIZES body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion.

To provide the most high quality content possible, I will pull from all areas of my expertise. You will find influences from DNS, PRI, ELDOAS, Foundation Training, Feldenkrais, etc. throughout our classes.

20 + routines

  • CARs routines (Controlled Articular Rotation)

The Plan

My expectation is that IDEALLY you do 1 of the CARs routines daily ( these are essential for your joints, like brushing your teeth). Then, 2-3 times a week you would perform a long routine. If you can't fit in a long routine, do a short routine. To keep things interesting and continually challenge our bodies and evolve our knowledge, I will add 1 short and 1 long routine each month.

my story

I believe MOVEMENT is the the best therapy and our most powerful tool. The science of human movement is my passion. I am constantly learning, insanely curious, love challenging my biases and sharing my knowledge. My mission is to bring you high quality movement videos so you can begin your journey of FEELING GOOD and REACHING YOUR PHYSICAL POTENTIAL. I have been a physiotherapist for over 20 years and have a clinical practice in North Vancouver where I use a combination of manual therapy, dry needling and movement. In addition, I am a clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy. Locally, I teach group KINSTRETCH classes and lead workshops for movement enthusiasts. All bodies and levels are welcome. I hope to see you soon!
